Hasbro (HAS) reported earnings this morning.
It had a terrific quarter
It beat earnings thanks to strong holiday sales for Disney (DIS) princess and Frozen-themed dolls.
The stock was up 14% today
This is the best day for the stock in 21 years!
Back on January 25, 1996, the stock went up 32%
Back in 2014, Mattel (MAT) lost the contract for Disney princesses to Hasbro.
The rights kicked in the spring of 2016
This is the first holiday season for Hasbro to profit from Disney princesses.
It’s the main reason why Mattel is down 5% this year and why Hasbro is up 21% this year already
If you’re wondering if it’s too late to get into Hasbro’s stock, it’s not.
Take a look at the movies coming out the rest of the year.

Next Friday February 17th, Hasbro will have its Investors Day at a Toy Fair in New York
