EA Earnings – Electronic Arts reports January 31st
Last quarter EA gapped down 2+ points to $75 immediately after the earnings report and during the earnings call, it steadily climbed back up and ended up gapping up several points to finish in the green.
CEO Andrew Wilson raised full year guidance during the call.
This earnings report will be the first earnings report to capture sales of EA FIFA 17.
FIFA is one of the EA’s most popular games. One reason is that soccer is the most popular game in the world.
EA’s earnings will be helped by holidays sales of its EA Sports games like FIFA 17, Madden NFL 17, NBA 2K 17 & NHL 17 as well its First Person Games (FPG) such as Battlefield 1 & Titanfall 2.
EA is already taking pre-orders for its upcoming First Person Shooter game Mass Effect Andromeda, which comes out March 21st.
